3.Heat treatment  of GCr15 die steel, 52100 bearing steel , GCr 15 bearing rod steel  

Soft annealing: heat to 680-720°C, cool slowly.

Hardness after annealing: Max. 241 HB

Hardening: 820 - 850 °C

Normalizing temperature: 840-880°C

Tempering: 540-680°C

Low Temperature Tempered: Heat to 150-170°C,cool in air

5.Application of GCr15 die steel, 52100 bearing steel , GCr 15 bearing rod steel  

(1)Used in making all kinds of bearing ring and rolling elements, like combustion engine, 

machine tool,

(2)bearings for melting machine; also used for making tools and measuring tools. 

(3)sed for making core carburizing parts that need high strength, like gears in gearbox,

gear shaft, cam, worm, claw clutch etc.

(4)Apart from these,frequentely made into ships, vehicle, aircraft, missile,weapons,

railways,bridge,pressure vessel,machine tool,etc.
